After graduating from the University of Utah in 2008, Nate found himself drawn to the analytical aspect of real estate. As a finance major, he has enjoyed the exploration into the numbers aspect of investment and business value properties. Nate brings this inquisitive nature into researching and valuing complex appraisal and consulting assignments, whether they are for acquisition and financing purposes, or for more intensive eminent domain or tax appeal proceedings.

Nate is certified as an appraiser in Utah and his experience covers a broad range of real estate markets and property types, such as complex retail and mixed-use developments, large industrial and manufacturing operations, high quality office complexes, land development projects, special-use facilities, residential development (single and multifamily), and properties with an intrinsic business value. His clients include but are not limited to financial institutions, national retail holding companies, development companies, asset management companies, public institutions, professional firms, municipalities, and individuals.

 REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

PROPERTY TAX: Nathan has provided valuation and consulting services in property tax appeal cases, including investment grade shopping centers and office buildings.

EMINENT DOMAIN: Nathan has prepared appraisal reports for acquisitions of right-of-way for light rail lines, road widening projects, and other right-of-way related assignments.

BANKRUPTCY: Nathan has prepared appraisal reports used in multiple bankruptcy proceedings including large, master-planned developments, car wash operations, and various land holdings.

DAMAGED REAL ESTATE: Nathan provided valuation and damage analyses associated with a construction damages claim on an office property.

FINANCING: Nathan has provided valuation for financing for multiple property types, including complex shopping centers, convenience stores and other properties with going-concern value, mixed use and office properties, and subdivisions and condominium/townhome developments.

ACQUISITIONS: Nathan provided appraisal and consulting services for a large institutional owner looking to expand current operations.
